Training workshop “Dynamic Entrepreneurship Classroom”

Center for Entrepreneurship of GSOM in cooperation with The US-Russia Center for Entrepreneurship holds a three-day training workshop “Dynamic Entrepreneurship Classroom” at Graduate School of Management on May 16-18, 2011.

 

Dynamic Entrepreneurship ClassroomThe partners of this arrangement are Department of Entrepreneurship of Oklahoma State University and Russian Association for Entrepreneurship Education.

 

A key element in developing entrepreneurship in Russia is in identifying those individuals and institutions involved in entrepreneurship education and provide them with a comprehensive introduction to effective techniques in the teaching of entrepreneurship. Exposing business school faculty to practical, skills-based instruction for entrepreneurs will enhance the ability of these educators to provide critical training to potential entrepreneurs, who can then go on to develop companies that create sustainable jobs.

  • Michael Morris, dean of Department of Entrepreneurship, Oklahoma State University
  • Minet Schindehutte, Associate Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
  • Galina Shirokova, Associate Professor of Strategic and International Management Department in GSOM, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship.
