V International Conference on Game Theory and Management - GTM 2011

The International Conference on Game Theory and Management, a three day conference, was held at GSOM SPbU in June 27-29, 2011. It is the initiative of St. Petersburg University carried out by the Graduate School of Management SPbU and the Department of Applied Mathematics – Control Processes in collaboration with The International Society of Dynamic Games (Russian Chapter). The Conference aims to develop the dialogue between the fundamental research in the field of game theory and the modern scientific thought in the field of management. The Nobel Prizes in Economics (John Nash, John Harsanyi, Reinhard Selten, Robert Aumann) proved the productivity of this interaction.
The topics include, but are not limited to game theory and management applications in strategic and international management, industrial organizations, marketing, operation management, financial management, recourse management, theoretical and application research on dynamic, evolutionary stochastic games and their applications.
Plenary lectures dealt with different areas of games and management applications. They were delivered by:
- Professor Vladimir Mazalov (Institute of Applied Mathematical Research, Russia)
- Professor Roger B. Myerson (Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, 2007, University of Chicago, USA)
- Professor Jörgen W. Weibull (Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden)
- Professor Shmuel Zamir (The Hebrew University, USA)
